Of God, the Spirit empowering life

My soul in step as You designed

The wind conveys me as I glide

Your Spirit is my gentle Guide

When the waves torrentially roll

And life struggles take a toll

The wind becomes most evident

Invisible yet prevalent

Too often I have forged my way

In strength of arm have gone astray

But even in my paddling

The wind dictates my travelling

Your power alone keeps me afloat

One gust and I'm a capsized boat

Align my spirit again with Yours

And lead me to Your eternal shores
